Hops & Cans was born in 2023 out of a love (okay, obsession) for sour beer. I'm Michael, that's me on the right on a boat in Barcelona. I always felt like the selection in supermarkets and craft beer shops was, well… a bit underwhelming. If I wanted great sours, I had to order directly from breweries—which meant committing to a whole crate of the same beer or mixing my order with styles I wasn’t really after.

So I decided, why not create a subscription box just for people who love sour beer? A place where fans of sour beer could get a fresh selection from different breweries every month without the hassle of hunting them down one by one.

And so, Hops & Cans was born—the UK’s first dedicated 100% sour beer subscription, delivering the most exciting and unique sours straight to your door.
