I'll admit it - I'm a total sucker for a good craft beer subscription box. In fact, I may have gone through a bit of a subscription binge in my day, trying out every option I could get my hands on. But the search for the perfect box can often be a long journey.
As my love for craft beer grew, I found myself especially drawn to the bold, tart flavours of sour beers. I'd eagerly look forward to those sour brews popping up in my monthly subscription deliveries. But all too often, they'd get lost in a sea of IPAs, stouts, and ales. That's when the lightbulb went off - why not create my own subscription box dedicated solely to sour beers?
And so, Hops and Cans was born. Our initial mission? To bring the best, most unique sour beers straight to the doorsteps of fellow sour enthusiasts like myself. But we didn't stop there. We also wanted to cater to the varied tastes of the craft beer community, so we expanded to offer specialised boxes focused on IPAs, dark beers, and even a classic mixed variety.
The Beauty of Discovery
For many craft beer fans, the thrill is in the discovery. Sure, we all have our go-to breweries (I'm looking at you, Vault City). But there's nothing quite like uncovering a new favourite from a brewery you've never heard of before. That's where a subscription box really shines.
Each month, you get to explore beers from all across the country, without having to do hours of research or order full cases just to give a new brewery a try. It's an easy, economical way to expand your craft beer horizons and find those hidden gems.
So, if you're looking to spice up your beer fridge and sample brews you've never experienced, a craft beer subscription box might be just the thing. Plus, you get the added benefit of not having to traipse all over town to track down the good stuff. It all comes straight to your doorstep.
